Education and Professional Background

Op. Dr. Alim Huseynov completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Baku before continuing his medical education in Azerbaijan. He graduated from the Azerbaijan Medical University in 2010.

Following medical school, he began his specialist training in Ophthalmology at the National Ophthalmology Center in Baku. Dr. Huseynov later continued his professional development in Türkiye and, in 2014, was awarded the Presidential Scholarship of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Between 2014 and 2018, he completed the Turkish equivalency process for his ophthalmology specialization at the Department of Ophthalmology, Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine. During this period, he worked as a research assistant and continued his clinical practice as an ophthalmologist.

Throughout his education and specialist training, Dr. Huseynov developed experience not only in general ophthalmology but also particularly in oculoplastic surgery, refractive surgery, cataract surgery, and retinal diseases.

From 2019 to 2022, he worked as an Ophthalmology Specialist at LIV Hospital Ulus.
