HOW DOES LASER EYE COLOR CHANGE WORK?
SLT Selective Laser
First of all this is not a surgery. It is called Laser Iridoplasty laser procedure. The mechanic of this procedure is similar to tattoo removal. When we break the pigments in to microscopic particles, human body washes away these particles in time. Getting sessions with intervals gives the best results.
Color is up to DNA
The laser does not allow us to choose a specific final eye color or shade. The result depends on your natural iris structure, the amount and distribution of melanin, and your individual genetics. As the brown pigment is gradually reduced over multiple sessions, the underlying natural iris color may become more visible. The degree and final shade of color change vary from patient to patient and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Laser Stimulation
Laser energy is applied to the pigments and this starts a chemical and biological change in the tissue that results as microscopic particles, these are cleared up by trabecular meshwork. The trabecular meshwork is located in the front of the eye and is the natural drain for fluid inside the eye. SLT stimulates the trabecular meshwork to increase the amount of fluid drained from within the eye so this fluid clears up the broken pigments as you get your sessions. Over time your underlaying color shows up.
Be Patient
Do not expect an immediate color change. Laser iris depigmentation is a gradual process, and the visible result develops over time as the disrupted pigment is cleared from the eye. The rate and degree of color change vary from patient to patient, which is why treatment sessions are spaced apart and follow-up examinations are important.

How many sessions needed?
The number of sessions varies depending on the amount and distribution of melanin in the iris and how each patient responds to treatment.
Patients with lighter brown eyes may begin to notice a visible change with fewer sessions, while darker brown eyes generally require more treatment sessions to achieve a significant reduction in pigmentation.
As a general clinical estimate, some patients may require approximately 4–8 sessions, while darker or more heavily pigmented irises may require 8–10 sessions or more. These numbers are estimates rather than guarantees, and the final color or degree of lightening cannot be predicted precisely in advance.
Progress is evaluated during follow-up examinations before additional sessions are recommended.

Full Payment is cash only on arrival of your first day.
1 session takes 4 days. Each day takes 15 min for both eyes. Eye is divided into four sections. Each day a quarter of each eye will be lasered.
You can have 2 sessions in a month only.
After that you must wait minimum 1 month to have more sessions so body can have time to clear fallen pigments.

Possibilities
Eye color change is only possible from Brown to Gray/Blue.
Color does not change from Dark Brown to Light Brown.
Laser only breaks and removes brown pigments. It does not dye your pigments. It does not lighten the current color. This is an irreversable procedure.

Answer: Yes but you will need more sessions to get a visible result under natural light.

Question: I have Very Dark brown (Grade-4) eyes and want i want bright blue eyes, can i have it only with 8 sessions?
Answer: Unfortunately 2 Sessions not enough for a visible change in Grade-4 Eyes. It takes around 8 to 10 sessions to clear all pigments of a Grade-4 patient.

Question: I have Dark (Grade-3) brown eyes and i want green, can i have it?
Answer: No, Laser can not choose color, please do not ask or expect unrealistic results from this procedure. Laser can only break the pigments and shows your underlying natural color.

Question: I have Dark brown (Grade-3) eyes and i want them to turn in to hazel or lighter brown, can i have it in 2 or 4 sessions?
Answer: Laser can not choose color. As you have laser sessions, your eye color will change of course but it will not turn from Dark Brown to a beautiful light brown.

SELECTIVE LASER IRIDOPLASTY
SLT or Selective Laser Iridoplasty is a laser procedure that uses a laser to break up pigments and aid fluid drainage from the eye, reducing pressure and allowing microscopic pigment particles to flow into the actual drainage. This low-level laser opens the drainage angle of the eye so fluid can drain out of the front of the eye. A slit-lamp microscope is used to guide the laser into the trabecular meshwork of the eye. This procedure is often done as a primary treatment for open-angle glaucoma patients before other surgical procedures are tried.

What is eye color change?
Eye color is determined mainly by the amount and distribution of melanin within the iris, together with the way light is scattered by the iris tissue. Brown eyes generally contain more visible melanin, while lighter-colored eyes contain less pigment and reflect and scatter light differently.
Laser iris depigmentation is designed to gradually reduce superficial brown melanin pigment within the iris. As pigmentation decreases over a series of sessions, the iris may appear lighter and its natural underlying color characteristics may become more visible.
The final shade cannot be selected in advance because iris structure, pigmentation and genetics differ from person to person. Before treatment, the ophthalmologist examines the eyes to assess whether the patient may be suitable for the procedure.

Are there any risks?
As with any procedure involving the eye, laser iris depigmentation has potential risks and should only be considered after a detailed ophthalmological examination.
Reported complications in the medical literature include temporary inflammation, increased intraocular pressure, pigment dispersion and, in rare reported cases, pigmentary glaucoma. Long-term scientific data on cosmetic laser iris depigmentation are still limited.
Before treatment, Dr. Osman Dursun evaluates the eyes, including intraocular pressure and the anterior segment, to determine whether the patient may be suitable for the procedure. Follow-up examinations are also important so that any pressure increase, inflammation or other unexpected reaction can be identified and managed promptly.
No medical procedure can be described as completely risk-free, and individual suitability must be determined by the ophthalmologist.

Will the this procedure affect my vision?
Laser iris depigmentation is designed to target pigment within the iris rather than the structures responsible for focusing vision. However, no cosmetic eye procedure can be guaranteed to have no effect on vision.
Published medical reports have described complications such as increased intraocular pressure, inflammation, glare, pigment dispersion and, in rare cases, more serious visual problems. For this reason, patients should undergo a detailed ophthalmological examination before treatment and appropriate follow-up afterward.
If any unusual symptoms such as significant eye pain, blurred vision, halos or persistent redness occur after treatment, the patient should contact the ophthalmologist promptly.

Is it painful?
No, it is painless because there will be no surgical intervention. But some itchness may occur after procedure. To prevent any side effect we will prescribe you all necessarry eye drops/medications.

When can I go back to work?
You can go back to your life without any home rest. There will be no changes in your life except the comments of your friends and relatives about your eye color.

I had laser surgery previously like Lasik etc. Can i get this therapy?
Yes you can have laser eye color change procedure before or after your lasik surgery.

What about iris implants, such as those offered by BrightOcular, NewColorIris or Yeux Clairs?
These implants develops severe ophthalmic complications, including elevated intraocular pressure, glaucoma, permanent corneal clouding and swelling, bleeding inside the eye, and severe inflammation inside the eye. In many cases, these injuries cause permanent vision loss or impairment. Many scientific ophthalmology articles have documented these horrific complications. We do not recommend them.

Can anyone undergo Eye Color Change procedure?
The people who is older than 18 are suitable for this therapy but the people who has anything listed below can not have this therapy;
People who have "BDD" Body Dysmorphic Disorder (continuously finding flaws with their physical appearance),
People who had laser eye surgery earlier than 6 months,
Who have uncontrolled diabetes,
Who has glaucoma,
